Please read this disclaimer carefully before proceeding with your scholarship application. By submitting an application, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to the following terms and conditions:
Eligibility: Meeting the stated eligibility criteria does not guarantee the awarding of a scholarship. All applications will be reviewed, and scholarships will be awarded based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to the applicant's qualifications, essay content, financial need (if applicable), and the overall strength of the application pool.
Completeness and Accuracy: It is your sole responsibility to ensure that all information provided in your application is complete, accurate, and truthful. The WANT Plus Work Foundation reserves the right to disqualify any application containing false, misleading, or incomplete information.
Submission Requirements: Applications must be submitted by the specified deadline and through the designated application portal or method. Applications submitted after the deadline or through any other means will not be considered. Ensure all required documents and information are included with your submission.
Review Process: The scholarship selection committee will review all eligible applications. The review process is confidential, and the decisions of the committee are final and binding. The WANT Plus Work Foundation is not obligated to provide individual feedback on application outcomes.
Award Notification: Scholarship recipients will be notified via the contact information provided in their application. The method and timeframe for notification are at the discretion of the WANT Plus Work Foundation. Non-selected applicants may not receive individual notification.
Use of Information: By submitting an application, you grant the WANT Plus Work Foundation the right to collect, use, and store the information provided in your application for the purpose of administering the scholarship program. This may include contacting you regarding your application or the scholarship program.
Scholarship Terms and Conditions: If awarded a scholarship, you may be required to agree to additional terms and conditions, including but not limited to reporting requirements, use of funds, and participation in foundation-related activities. Failure to comply with these terms and conditions may result in the revocation of the scholarship.
No Guarantee of Award: The WANT Plus Work Foundation reserves the right to modify, suspend, or terminate the scholarship program at any time without prior notice. There is no guarantee that any scholarships will be awarded in any given application cycle.
Limitation of Liability: The WANT Plus Work Foundation and its affiliates, officers, directors, employees, and agents shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages arising out of or in any way connected with 2 the scholarship application process or the awarding or non-awarding of scholarships.
10. Governing Law: This disclaimer and the scholarship application process shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Mississippi, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

Want Plus Work Foundation Scholarship Application Process.
1. Application Availability:
The Want Plus Work Foundation Scholarship application can be requested by emailing wpwfscholarships@gmail.com and requesting an application.
Applications will be accessible from March 2026 to June 2026. More details will be shared at a later date.
2. Application Components: Applicants must submit the following:
Completed Application Form: This form will request the following information.
Contact information: Full name, address, email, and phone number should be included in the email for submission.
Personal Essay:
Document Setup: New Times Roman, 12-point font, double spacing (2.0), Margins 1-inch on all sides, page numbers.
Introduction (75-100 words)
Body Paragraphs (3 paragraphs, each approximately 100-150 words)
Conclusion (75-100 words)
A 500-word essay describing your career goals in a trade, why you are seeking this scholarship, and how it will impact your future.
Describe any relevant experiences or challenges that have shaped your desire to pursue a trade.
Unofficial Transcripts:
Unofficial transcripts from your most recent educational institution(s).
Letters of Recommendation:
2 letters of recommendation from individuals who can attest to your character, work ethic, and potential (e.g., teachers, employers, mentors).
Proof of Enrollment/Acceptance:
Documentation confirming your enrollment or acceptance into a recognized trade school or apprenticeship program.
Resume/CV (Optional but encouraged):
A resume detailing any work or volunteer experience.
3. Application Submission:

All required documents must be uploaded in a Word document format.
Deadline:
Applications must be submitted to the email by 6/12/2025 at noon. Late applications will not be considered.
4. Application Review and Confirmation:

Applicants who submit via mail will receive an email or postal confirmation within seven business days.
Initial Screening:
All applications will be reviewed for completeness and eligibility.
Incomplete or ineligible applications will be disqualified.
